Promotion of further and advanced training (inpatient care)

Course description

Eligible for funding are

• Further education and training required to impart, expand, deepen and further develop the specific expertise of professional carers
• Supervision
• Personnel development measures for the deployment of academically qualified nursing staff and for work organisation models such as primary nursing

The funding areas are also eligible as online seminars. For example, the following are eligible for funding

• Basic hygiene training (IfSG)
• End-of-life care
• Pain management
• Prevention of violence in care
• Culturally sensitive / diversity-sensitive care
• German courses
• Practical guidance for generalist nursing training
• IfSG hygiene officer (minimum standard: 40 hours)
• Gerontopsychiatric specialist for nursing and care
• Palliative care for professional carers
• Supervision

The funding can only be paid out after the programme has been completed and the complete documentation has been submitted.

Prerequisites

All full inpatient care facilities within the meaning of § 71 Para. 2 Social Code XI - Social Care Insurance (SGB XI) - that have a care contract in accordance with § 72 SGB XI, provide their services in the city of Munich and fulfil the requirements in accordance with the guidelines are eligible.

Applications (with original signature) and the required supporting documents must be received by the City of Munich in writing (by post, fax) before the start of the measure in the current calendar year ; incomplete applications and applications missing the supporting documents will be rejected without further enquiry.
